Beginnings

Music and singing has always been a part of my life, growing up in an Italian family of Musicians and Artistes. At the age of 5 I had performed my first "Live" performance, in a child competition, which I won! At age 8 I had already a full agenda of work, singing in clubs every weekend, and even had an Agent representing me. I continued this work until I reached 17, and got my first Television show, then, it became a little more serious....

Recording and TV career

At 22 I did the popular Saturday night Television show "Search for a Star" to around 13 million viewers watching. On the Monday morning, the Producer from the show called to say CBS/EPIC SONY, label foto_neg1were interested to sign a contract with me. My first single on that label was "Every Home Should Have One", produced by the late Gus Dudgeon, (ELTON JOHN) record producer. A second single followed and then we completed my first Album. The second Album, written and produced by Ben Findon (BILLY OCEAN) producer, took me to Japan for the Silver Award at the TOKYO MUSIC SEMINAR, at Budokhan Hall, in front of 15,000 people for my live performance. ... lying, is something you do to yourself, loyalty is priceless. Love is a treasure,to be respected !... It was Nigel Martin Smith, the Mastermind behind the success of TAKE THAT who convinced me to sing HI-NRG/DANCE and so EAT YOU UP was born. Reaching Nº1 in Japan/Asia/Far East counting more than 1.5 million records sold in 1983 on Alfa Records. Was Nº 9 in Australia, and Nº 1 on USA Billboard dance charts for many months, and Nº 1 in the Record Mirror Dance charts in UK... Little did we know, the song was to become a Legend!!! I liked the Energy of this style of music and stayed with it, loving the vibe. EAT YOU UP is more than 20 yrs old, yet has stayed in a position of HI-NRG history, being Remixed by all Top Djs and Record Producers Worldwide. For me, there is no greater Acolade or "thankyou" one can receive as an artist. At one time, I was involved in recording so many songs my label decided to use other names for me, such as PRINCESS PARAGON and PRIMA. Both again extremely succesful Prima having a Nº 1 in USA Billboard hit with DONT CRY FOR ME ARGENTINA, and PRINCESS PARAGON, with ANGEL OF MINE and KISS THE RAIN plus many other songs. All these songs were produced by my friend and talented Ian Anthony Stevens. Recently, New York multitalented producer/writer KEITH KEMPER has just finished remixing EAT YOU UP due for release soon in USA (details release soon in web). Keith did the score for the trailers of the films King Kong, Batman and Transformers. Soon to start work on 2 new versions of songs, and one, to be recorded in UK. Also a planned album of all the new versions of Angie Gold and People Like Us--including new songs. (all information available in my official web site soon)...
